Renegade is the ambitious Grenadian project working terroir specific cane, and this is an unaged white bottled at 55%, with the unsweetened, distillery transparent approach the label is known for.

Unaged pot still rum puts the raw distillate on full display, and that is exactly what shows, fresh cut grass, sugarcane and bright citrus on the nose with a light rubbery, earthy funk underneath. The palate is powerful and fruity, apple and fresh cane with that same grassy citrus edge, then a finish that turns saline and peppery with the cane note lingering. It reads as a distinctly characterful, slightly polarising white, the kind built for sipping neat by the curious or for giving a serious backbone to a cocktail. Honest, dry and unmistakably pot still.
