Domaine Guillot-Broux makes this Burgundy from mostly Pinot Noir with some Gamay, farmed organically and biodynamically. Light and juicy, it shows strawberry, redcurrant and cherry over fresh acidity and soft tannins.

Description
Guillot-Broux Bourgogne Marisa is a red blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay from Domaine Guillot-Broux in the Maconnais of southern Burgundy. The cuvee is named after Marie and Isabel, two young winemakers who worked together at the estate. Most of the blend is Pinot Noir, which brings red fruit, finesse and gentle tannin, rounded out by Gamay for extra juiciness and freshness. The domaine farms organically and biodynamically, and the wine is made for early drinking rather than long ageing, kept fresh and bright without heavy oak. The limestone soils of the region give the wine a fine acidity and a savoury underpinning. Expect a light ruby colour, a nose of strawberry, redcurrant, cherry and a touch of rose, and a juicy, mid-light palate with vivid acidity, soft tannins and a clean, faintly earthy finish. This is an easygoing Burgundy that rewards a light chill. Serve at around 14 degrees, without decanting. It is a good match for roast chicken, duck and mushroom dishes.
