Grays is a well established Mauritian producer, and New Grove Silver is its unaged white expression, made from molasses and distilled on a column still for a clean, light spirit rather than a heavy, funky one.
Without tasting detail, expect the typical character of a column distilled white rum, crisp and neutral leaning with a soft sugar cane sweetness. At 37.5% it is gentle and mixable, designed as a versatile base for cocktails and long drinks rather than a sipper to be taken neat.
