Granbazán Etiqueta Verde 2025

Granbazán produce Etiqueta Verde in the D.O. Rías Baixas, a varietal Albariño, a grape cultivated in Galicia for over a thousand years and well suited to the region's climate and soils. Rías Baixas is a cool, maritime corner of Atlantic Spain, with granite and sandy soils, high rainfall and constant sea air, which together give Albariño its high natural acidity and saline character. The wine is aged five months on its lees in stainless steel vats, a method that protects the fresh aromatics while the slow autolysis adds a rounder texture and a little more weight to the palate, all without the influence of oak. The colour is pale straw with green tints, and the nose is fresh and zesty, with lemon peel, lime zest and freshly cut green apple over a hint of white peach. The palate is light to medium bodied, the citrus fruit carried by a firm acidity and finished with a stony, saline grip. Serve well chilled at 8 to 10 degrees. It suits shellfish, white fish and salads, and makes a bright aperitif.
