A Barbados rum from the historic Goslings house in a vintage 1930s Choicest bottling, molasses-based and bottled at 43%, an old-style Bajan blend from a long-established name.
Description
Goslings Choicest is a Barbados rum from the long-established Goslings house, here in a vintage bottling from the 1930s at 43%. It is a collector-oriented old-style Bajan rather than a current release. Barbados rum traditionally lands balanced and rounded, a pot-and-column island style showing toffee, ripe banana, vanilla and soft baking spice, fruitier than Cuban and far less funky than Jamaican. As an aged blend in the older idiom, expect a mellow, oak-tinged Bajan character in keeping with its early heritage.
