Description
Weingut Goldenits is a family estate at Tadten on the Heideboden, east of Lake Neusiedl, where the warm Pannonian climate ripens grapes fully. This rose is a cuvee of Blaufrankisch and Cabernet Sauvignon from vines between twelve and forty years old on sandy black earth and gravel soils, hand-picked for ripeness. Fermentation is temperature controlled to protect the fresh fruit, and the wine is raised in stainless steel to keep its clarity and lift rather than build oak or heavy autolysis.
The wine shows a clear rose in the glass. The nose is dry and openly fruity, with intense raspberry and strawberry, while the palate is tangy and fruit-driven with a fine yeasty note and a charming, long finish. Serve well chilled at around 7 degrees in a white wine glass. It works as an aperitif and alongside light dishes, fresh salads and lighter poultry.
