Sun-ripened tangerine leads the way here, all bright peel and gentle sweetness before classic juniper steadies the glass and a whisper of warm spice rounds it off. Made in Jerez by the sherry house Williams & Humbert, it pours soft and golden-edged. Easy to love, hard to set down on a warm evening.

Description
From the storied sherry bodegas of Williams & Humbert in Jerez de la Frontera comes a gin that wears its citrus on its sleeve. The Gold 999.9 range is known for its theatrical golden bottles, but the liquid earns the attention: ripe Spanish tangerines are folded into a traditional juniper base, giving Andalusian sunshine to an otherwise classic recipe.
The nose opens with fresh mandarin over a soft cushion of juniper. The palate is citrus-forward and smooth, gently sweet, with a thread of exotic spice running beneath. It finishes fresh and fruity with a faint sugared edge. Pour over plenty of ice, top with a crisp tonic and twist a strip of orange zest over the glass to lift the fruit.
