Glen’s White Rum

Glen's White is an inexpensive, unaged white rum bottled at 37.5%, with no stated origin, producer or cask history. It belongs to the supermarket call-rum category, a light spirit built to disappear into cola and long drinks rather than to be tasted neat.

Without barrel time there is little oak to lean on, so expect a clean, simple, spirit-forward pour with a short finish. It is honest about what it is, a low-cost mixing base rather than a sipping rum, and it does its job behind a bar more than in a glass on its own.
