Unlike the original release, the Cask Selection was bottled at a higher ABV of 43%, which allowed for a more intense and concentrated flavor profile, enhancing the complexity and depth of the whisky.

This version of the 30 Year Old continued to use a combination of ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, but with an even greater focus on selecting only the most exceptional casks for the final blend. The result is a whisky with rich layers of flavor, including deep notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate, roasted nuts, and a gentle spice, balanced by the smoothness and maturity that comes with three decades of aging. The packaging for the Cask Selection was also updated to reflect its premium status, featuring a more luxurious design with a decanter-style bottle and elegant presentation box, underscoring the whisky's position as a top-tier expression within the Glenfiddich range.
