An 11 year old Glen Moray from the bottler Anam na h-Alba, distilled in 2008, from cask 27, bottled at 56.2%, one of 326 bottles. Glen Moray is a Speyside single malt from Elgin, known for its light, fruity and accessible style. Its light, fresh spirit suits a wide range of cask finishes, from sherry to rum.

The spirit was made on River Lossie water and condensed in shell and tube condensers, building a light, accessible character of orchard fruit and vanilla. Most Glen Moray begins in American oak ex-Bourbon, the base for its cask finishes. In integration lactones (coconut) and vanillin (vanilla) knit with the spirit, the green apple deepening to honey and toffee. Refill oak lets the light, fruity Glen Moray character lead the way. Glen Moray has long made an accessible, fruity Speyside in the classic style. It was built on Gallow Hill at Elgin, the old site of the town's hangings.

Bottled at a cask strength 56.2%, it is rich. A light, orchard fruit and toffee, with a soft vanilla from the oak. Soft orchard fruit and a creamy vanilla sit behind the cask. The finish is rounded, fruity and clean. This is a fresh, fruity Speyside single malt.
