A 34 year old Glen Keith from the bottler Malcolm Pride Ltd, distilled in 1968, from cask 2628, bottled at 58.1%. Glen Keith is a fruity Speyside single malt from the Chivas stable at Keith. Its water is drawn from the Balloch Hill spring above Keith.

Made on Balloch Hill water and condensed in shell and tube condensers, giving a clean, sweet Speyside spirit. A bourbon barrel held it, the wood adding a light vanilla and a soft honey. At a great, fragile age oxidation rules, sotolon lending maple and dried fig as beeswax and a tropical fruit linger. The cool Speyside air gives a slow, even maturation in the Glen Keith warehouses. It was the first new distillery to open in Speyside since the great whisky crash of 1898. Its tall, narrowing stills give a light, fruity Speyside spirit. Its first permanent single malt was released in 2017, the Distillery Edition. It was Seagram's experimental plant, and still houses the Chivas Brothers lab.

At cask strength 58.1% it is full bodied. A fresh, fruity sweetness, with a soft vanilla from the oak. Beneath it run green apple, pear and a soft vanilla. The finish is long, fruity and clean. This is a light, fruity Speyside single malt.
