From the bottler Malts of Scotland, a 33 year old Glen Keith, distilled in 1993, from cask MoS26010, bottled at 44.6%, one of 158 bottles. Glen Keith is a Speyside single malt known for a light, sweet, fruity character. It was built in 1957 by Seagram on the site of a meal mill, directly behind Strathisla.

The spirit was worked through the tall stills for a light, sweet make, building the fresh Glen Keith style. A refill bourbon hogshead held it, keeping the fresh, fruity character to the fore. In its ethereal years the malt is waxy and oxidative, faded esters and a touch of sotolon (maple, dried fig). Built for the blender's art, the spirit ages with grace as a single malt. The tall, narrowing stills give a light spirit that takes the cask well. Its first permanent single malt was released in 2017, the Distillery Edition.

Bottled at a cask strength 44.6%, it is rich. Baked apple, citrus and a creamy vanilla, with a soft vanilla from the oak. The texture is light and clean, the fruit lifted by vanilla. A long, fruity finish carries a green apple and a soft spice. This is Glen Keith's clean, fruity Speyside style.
