A Glen Keith of a 21 year old chosen by the Campbeltown house Cadenhead, distilled in 1993, bottled at 54.1%, one of 444 bottles. Glen Keith is a fruity Speyside single malt from the Chivas stable at Keith. It was mothballed in 1999 and revived by Pernod Ricard in 2013 after a full refit.

It was distilled light and fruity in the Glen Keith style, building the fresh Glen Keith style. It was matured in refill ex-Bourbon oak, a soft vanilla beneath the fruit. Through oxidative maturity esters concentrate, the apple turning honeyed and a soft tropical fruit creeping in. Active wood frames the fruit without overwhelming the light Speyside spirit. Long ageing turns the fresh apple towards tropical fruit, honey and a soft spice. The cool Speyside air gives a slow, even maturation in the Glen Keith warehouses. Maturation in the racked warehouses at Keith is slow and steady. Built for the blender's art, the spirit ages with grace as a single malt.

At 54.1%, undiluted, it is deep and fruity. Green apple, honey and a soft malt, with a soft vanilla from the oak. A baked apple and a gentle spice lift it. The finish runs light, fruity and clean. This is the light, fresh malt of Keith.
