Bright juniper and coriander seed lead, lifted by lemon and orange peel and a backbone of fine spice. Distilled in small batches and named for Hogarth’s 1751 print, it finishes dry, clean and long. A no-nonsense London Dry with proper eighteenth-century manners.

Gin Lane 1751 takes its name from William Hogarth's famous 1751 engraving and the Gin Act passed that same year to clean up the trade. The Bloomsbury Club revives that historical London Dry style in small batches, leaning on juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root and lemon and orange peel, with no artificial additives or added flavourings, just pure distillate bottled at 40%.

The nose is fresh with juniper, citrus and light herbal spice. The palate is clear and balanced, juniper dominant with coriander and citrus freshness behind it and a subtle spine of spice; the finish is dry, refreshing and clean. It is a natural for a classic gin and tonic with an Indian tonic and a twist of lemon, and equally at home holding its line in a Martini or Negroni.
