Gelas Double Matured Rum Full Proof is a 9 year old Panamanian ron from the Gelas house, distilled on a column still from molasses, matured twice and bottled at full proof 49.9% from ex-bourbon wood. Gelas is a Gascon producer better known for Armagnac, and the double maturation and full-proof strength set this apart from the softer mainstream Panama style.
