Fuji Gotemba Fuji is the headline single grain whisky from Kirin's Fuji Gotemba distillery in Shizuoka prefecture, bottled in 2020 at 46% for the European market. Fuji Gotemba is one of Japan's most capable grain producers, distilling three distinct grain types on site since 1973, and the Fuji expression is designed to spotlight that expertise in an approachable NAS format.

Matured in Ex-Bourbon casks, the whisky delivers the precise, clean grain character the distillery is known for: fresh orchard and tropical fruit, vanilla and honey from the American oak, with a hay-like and slightly husky note that adds texture to the mid-palate. The declared profile adds dried fruit for a quiet depth and warmth that rounds the finish, making this a light, composed grain whisky well suited to those approaching the Fuji Gotemba style for the first time.
