Franzi Franzbrotchen Vegan Likor is a German plant based cream liqueur bottled at 15%, made by Nork as a vegan take on the famous Hamburg Franzbrotchen, the city's caramelised cinnamon pastry. It keeps the cinnamon and caramel character of the original Franzbrotchen liqueur while being made entirely free of animal ingredients, so guests avoiding dairy can have the same bakery flavour and creamy texture. The vegan recipe is the point, a plant based alternative on a back bar where dairy free options are increasingly asked for.
The nose is sweet and inviting with cinnamon, caramelised sugar, fine pastry notes and subtle vanilla, the palate creamy and full bodied with cinnamon, caramel, sweet pastry flavours and vanilla, soft and harmonious, finishing round and dessert like, sweet and spicy with cinnamon and caramel and pleasantly long.
