A bright red sloe gin that runs drier and stronger than most, opening on sweet plum and stewed hedgerow fruit before a firm juniper note cuts through. Made by a family estate in the Home Counties from traditional recipes and British-grown sloes. Sweet up front, fresh and clean on the finish.

Description
Foxdenton Estate is a family-run business in the English Home Counties, making seasonal fruit gin liqueurs and a classic London Dry from traditional recipes and chiefly British fruit. Their sloe gin is the estate's signature flask-filler, but built lighter, stronger and drier than the average, so the fruit never tips into syrup. The sloes, those tart wild plums of the autumn hedgerow, are steeped to draw out colour and flavour, giving a deep, bright red in the glass.
The nose carries sweet fruit, warm spice and a clear juniper note. The palate is fruity and intense, all ripe plum and dark hedgerow sweetness, with juniper holding firm underneath, before a long, surprisingly fresh finish. Lovely sipped neat from a hip flask, or topped with sparkling wine for a quick, festive sloe royale.
