Fiorito Limoncello Superiore

Fiorito Limoncello Superiore is a lemon liqueur bottled at 31%, made from 100% natural ingredients around hand peeled organic Sicilian lemons. The peels are gently macerated in alcohol to draw an intense, fresh flavour, the traditional method for the category, and unlike many industrial limoncellos it is made without artificial additives or colourings, relying on the fruit and a finely balanced natural sweetness. The organic Sicilian lemon peel and its essential oils are the whole story.

The nose is fresh and intense with lemon and fine essential oils over a hint of sweetness, the palate silky smooth and harmoniously sweet with intense lemon freshness and a natural acidity, finishing long, refreshing and slightly creamy with a gentle citrus note. Behind the bar it brings bright lemon flavour, sweetness and a fresh acidic lift, which suits it to a limoncello spritz, a citrus sour or a sparkling serve. It develops best served ice cold at four to six degrees in a chilled glass as a digestif after a Mediterranean meal, and lengthens easily with sparkling wine or soda. Keep it in the freezer and serve it very cold.
