Fine Spirits Travellers Rum of the World Juuls 2017 is a single cask drawn from Belize's Travellers distillery, the country's best known rum producer, and selected by the Fine Spirits label. It carries a 2017 vintage and five years of age.
The make is molasses based and distilled on a column still, then matured in an ex-bourbon barrel and bottled at 46% without sweetening. Travellers is a lighter, cleaner Central American style, and at this strength and age the rum leans gentle and approachable, with the soft cane and light oak character typical of the distillery rather than heavy funk.
