Ferroni Old Manada Rum Gold is a gold rum bottled by Maison Ferroni, the Marseille house known for cask-strength, unsweetened rums double-matured in Provence in ex-sweet-wine and brandy casks. This release leans on a cognac cask, lending a vinous, brandy-like layer over the rum.
Bottled at 47%, the recorded notes run dry and savoury: saddle leather, cognac and oak barrel, with a dry finish. That profile fits the Ferroni style of restrained, wood-forward rums rather than sweet, rounded ones.
