Unique Blend No.1 2025 is a high strength blended rum from Famille Ricci, marrying well aged molasses distillate from several origins into a 24 year old marriage bottled at a formidable 65.5% cask strength. It is pitched at experienced palates, a rich and powerful sipper rather than an easy everyday pour.

The blend leans dark and indulgent. A woody nose with chocolate, spice and citrus gives way to a palate of dark chocolate, coffee, caramel and red pepper, with a fresh, woody, peachy finish that turns dry. There is a Port Mourant like density and chocolate spice character, lifted by fruit and freshness and underpinned by firm oak, with a whisky tinge that some pick up on. At 65.5% it is intense and warming, demanding a little water and patience, a substantial, layered pour for drinkers who enjoy high proof, heavily aged rums and want real weight and depth in the glass.
