Selected by the French house Famille Ricci, this pot still rum carries an unusually long age of 28 years, sits in Ex-Bourbon oak and arrives unsweetened at a cask strength 56.4%.

With nearly three decades behind it, the rum has developed a deep, ester rich aromatic profile, all banana, butterscotch and buttery tropical fruit, with a pronounced ester lift that brings Hampden's Jamaican funk to mind despite the Barbados origin. The palate carries that through, banana and butterscotch turning buttery and rich over the long aged oak. Bottled dry and at full strength, it lets the years and the still speak plainly, a serious, fruit driven pour for those who chase old, additive free Caribbean rum.
