Famille Ricci Clarendon Wilmore is a 14 year old pot-still Clarendon bottled by Famille Ricci, drawing on the workhorse Jamaican distillery whose pot marks carry real funk and weight. Bottled at full cask strength, it presents an intense, wood-forward expression of the island, with pineapple and tropical fruit pushing through a dense, oaky nose.

Distilled from molasses on pot stills and matured in ex-bourbon oak, it leads with pineapple, wood and firm tannins on a powerful palate, the structure leaning heavily on oak. A spicy, apple-edged finish rounds it out. This is a rum that rewards rest and a few drops of water, which tame the wood and open up the fruit. Bottled unsweetened at 63%, it is a robust, characterful Clarendon for cask-strength drinkers who enjoy a tannic, intense and slightly unconventional take on aged Jamaican rum.
