Dunglass 1967 (Signatory), from Signatory Vintage in ex-Bourbon at 45.8%. A light Lowland malt with a fragrant note over soft orchard fruit.
Only 1 left in stock

Description
Signatory Vintage bottles widely and without colouring, an Edinburgh house since 1988. A 37 year old Littlemill, from cask 2409, this was distilled in 1967 and bottled in 2004, in the Vintage Collection - Decanter range. A handful of bottles from a vanished distillery, as rare as Lowland whisky gets.
Held in ex-Bourbon for thirty-seven years, the oak settles Littlemill's grassy, honeyed make.
Bottled undiluted at 45.8%, vanilla and a gentle oak sweetness from the bourbon cask. It carries a fragrant note. Furfural from the toasted oak lends a faint almond note, lignin the vanilla, the low tannins a soft frame. Time has thinned the cask and eased the alcohol, the humid air drawing off spirit faster than water until only this concentrated remainder is left.
