Dos Hombres “Breaking Bad” Mezcal

Dos Hombres is an artesanal joven mezcal launched by the Breaking Bad actors Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul in 2019, sourced from a single village in Oaxaca and built entirely from hand selected Espadin, Agave angustifolia. It is a celebrity owned brand with genuine single village production behind it, run through traditional methods rather than industrial shortcuts.
The Espadin hearts are roasted in underground pit ovens, the stage that lends the soft smoke, then crushed with a horse drawn tahona stone wheel that adds body and texture. Fermentation runs seven to ten days with mountain spring water before a double distillation in copper. The result balances orchard and tropical fruit, with apple, mango and local fruit set against wood and a gentle ember, bottled at 42 percent in an approachable, rounded style.
