Carrying no age statement and bottled at 40%, it reflects the clean, smooth Puerto Rican house style, an easy and uncomplicated everyday rum.

The profile is restrained and oak-led rather than fruity or estery. The nose offers wood and leather, the palate is dry with oak to the fore, and the finish turns gently sweet. There is a pleasant, light vanilla lift to be found, and it sits comfortably whether sipped neat with a little afterburn or used in a mixed drink, where it behaves without issue.
