Description
Domaine de Severin Marsolle - Punch Shrubb is a flavoured rum from Domaine de Severin on Marie-Galante, built on a column-distilled agricole base of fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice. Shrubb is the classic French-Caribbean orange liqueur, traditionally made by steeping bitter orange peel and spice in cane rum, a fixture of the Creole festive table.
Bottled at 30%, it is sweet and rounded rather than dry, so expect candied and bitter orange with warm spice over a sugary cane base. Serve it chilled or over ice as a festive after-dinner pour.
