Description
Doble 9 Blanco is an unaged white rum in the light Cuban style, distilled from molasses on a column still. The ron ligero tradition prizes a clean, charcoal-mellowed spirit, the backbone of daiquiris, mojitos and other classic cocktails.
Bottled at a gentle 38%, this is a soft, approachable white built for mixing rather than neat sipping. Expect a light, lightly sweet cane character with crisp simplicity. It is a straightforward cocktail rum in the island mould, doing its best work behind the bar rather than in a tasting glass. Added sugar is not disclosed for this release.
