It is a molasses rum made on a blend of pot and column stills, aged in ex-bourbon oak, in the smooth, approachable Venezuelan ron tradition that prizes softness over heavy molasses character.

The profile runs to caramel, vanilla and gentle wood with a touch of dried fruit, finishing a little drier than the richer Reserva Exclusiva. It is a sweetened rum, though more restrained than its sibling, drinking soft and easy at 40%. For drinkers who like the Diplomatico house style but want something less sugary and more wallet-friendly, it keeps the family character in a lighter, more versatile package.
