Description
Dictador Obra Port 2002 is a single port cask Colombian rum from Destileria Colombiana, part of the Obra line that builds the range around individual barrels. This one was raised for twenty-one years and finished with port influence.
Distilled in 2002 from molasses and bottled at 45%, it should carry the Colombian house style of coffee, cocoa and vanilla, with the port wood adding dark berry, plum and a touch of red-wine spice. Added sugar is not recorded, so it is best read as a rich, dessert-leaning aged ron typical of Dictador rather than a dry expression.
