Dictador Jerarquia Fino 1991 is a long-aged Colombian rum from Destileria Colombiana, finished in Fino sherry casks. Dictador works in a solera-leaning Spanish style, and the house signature tends toward coffee, cocoa, vanilla and dried fruit.
Unusually, the Fino finish here points to a drier, more savoury direction than the sweeter sherry styles, adding a nutty, saline edge over the rich base. With a stated twenty-nine years and bottling at 41%, this should be a complex-feeling, contemplative pour.
