De Kuyper Apricot Brandy Liqueur

De Kuyper Apricot Brandy Liqueur is a fruit liqueur from De Kuyper Royal Distillers, the Dutch house in Schiedam that has made liqueurs and spirits for over 300 years, working since 1695. It is built on natural apricot extracts combined with fine brandy, giving a fruity liqueur with a touch of warmth, bottled at 20% with a velvety texture.

The nose is fruity and sweet with ripe apricots, marzipan and a hint of brandy, the palate full bodied and smooth with apricot sweetness, light spice and a subtle woody note, closing mild, creamy and fruity. Behind the bar it adds apricot flavour, sweetness and body, the role a fruit liqueur plays in a sour or a stirred drink: it carries the Apricot Sour, the Paradise and the Golden Dream, and works with sparkling or white wine as a fruity aperitif. Serve it neat or on ice as a dessert accompaniment, or reach for it whenever a drink wants ripe stone fruit.
