Damoiseau is the largest distillery in Guadeloupe, and its Les Arranges range takes an agricole base distilled from fresh pressed sugar cane juice and steeps it with fruit. This Ananas Victoria leans on pineapple and vanilla, and at 30% with clear sweetness it sits honestly in liqueur territory rather than among dry sipping rums.
The aromatics are straightforward and inviting, ripe pineapple and vanilla with a faint cane note underneath, and the palate delivers the same dessert like sweetness with a little real fruit character from the agricole base.
