Description

Damoiseau Club is a white agricole from Damoiseau, the largest distillery in Guadeloupe and one of the island's big export names. It is made from fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice rather than molasses and column-distilled in the agricole manner.

Bottled at a robust 50%, it is the kind of full-proof white that Guadeloupe bartenders reach for. Typical of an agricole blanc, expect a grassy, vegetal core with fresh sugar-cane sap, white pepper and a saline edge, dry and snappy rather than sweet. This is a workhorse Ti Punch rum and a clean cane base for cocktails.
