From the Italian house High Spirits' Collection and its Masters Of Magic series, this Croftengea is a heavily peated malt from Loch Lomond, a 12 year old from 2007.
Twelve years in ex-Bourbon round the peat, the cask's vanilla softening the peat beneath.
At 46% the wood smoke runs over the malt, phenols and guaiacol driving the reek. A peated Croftengea.
