Description
The Whisky Jury, a Continental independent, bottles this Croftengea, Loch Lomond's dense, peaty make, a mature 18 year old from 2007, cask 259.
Eighteen years in ex-Bourbon soften the peat, the low-tannin oak giving vanilla below the reek.
At 49.2% the wood smoke runs over the malt, smoke phenols and guaiacol to the fore. A mature peated Croftengea.
