The Whisky Agency, a German independent celebrated for its illustrated labels, bottles this Croftengea, a heavily peated Loch Lomond style, a mature 19 year old from 2006 in Tawny Port.
Nineteen years in Tawny Port lend plum and a nutty sweetness over the peat, the angel's share having eased the cask over the years.
At 49.5% the Port's plum plays against a softened wood smoke, guaiacol leading the smoky reek. A Port mature Croftengea.
