Description

The Vintage Malt Whisky Company, a Glasgow independent, bottles this Croftengea in its Cooper's Choice range. A heavily peated Loch Lomond malt, a 10 year old from 2006 drawn from cask 498.

Ten years in ex-Bourbon let the low-tannin oak round the peat, vanilla beneath the smoke.

At 46% the wood smoke runs over the malt, guaiacol and phenols carrying the reek. A peated Cooper's Choice Croftengea.
