A Cragganmore, a distillery bottling, at 40%. Cragganmore is a meaty, fragrant Speyside malt made on flat topped stills and worm tubs. The Distillers Edition is finished in Port wood, the house double matured expression.

Distilled in flat topped stills with worm tub condensers on Craggan Burn water, building the distinctive Cragganmore style. A Port pipe laid red fruit and a chocolate note over the complex malt. Carrying no age, soft vanillin (vanilla) and a fragrant, meaty malt suggest a fair spell in cask. Vanillin and oak lactones from the wood lend vanilla and coconut over the meaty malt. It is often called one of the most complex of all the Speyside malts. A Port wood finish, the Distillers Edition style, adds plum and dark berry to the malt. Its malt has long been the heart of the Old Parr and McCallum's blends. Years in oak round the spirit, the fruit deepening to dried fruit and a savoury spice.

Bottled at 40%, it is rounded. Malt, dried fruit and a herbal spice, with plum, red berry and chocolate from the cask. Soft orchard fruit and a savoury malt sit behind the cask. A long, fragrant finish carries a savoury depth. This is a fragrant Speyside single malt of real depth.
