Coruba N.P.U. Overproof

Coruba N.P.U. Overproof is a 74% white in the Jamaican overproof tradition, built from molasses as a high-strength mixing rum rather than a sipper. With no age statement and a profile led by raw intensity, it belongs to the same family as the island's iconic white overproofs, designed to carry flavour and heat through a cocktail rather than reward neat drinking.

The nose is fruity and sweet with bitter orange and an alcoholic lift, the palate brings sweetness, a medicinal edge and caramel, and the finish is concentrated and tropical. Unsweetened and bottled at 74%, it is fierce on its own and at its best in tiki and overproof cocktails, where its fruity power really pops. Simpler and more about raw strength than nuance, it is a workhorse mixing rum for Daiquiris, Mai Tais and rum-heavy builds.
