Description
Clement is a Martinique estate with roots going back three centuries, strong in aged agricole, and this Tres Vieux carries a 2000 vintage. It is made from fresh pressed sugar cane juice, distilled on a creole column still, and bottled unsweetened in keeping with the Martinique AOC.
A tropically aged agricole of this vintage shows real depth. Expect the grassy, herbaceous agricole core layered with vanilla, baking spice, toasted oak, cocoa and leather, dry and spice forward rather than sweet. Bottled at 45% without additives, this is a mature Martinique agricole made for slow, neat sipping.
