Clement Single Batch 100% Canne Bleue comes from the historic Clement estate in Martinique and is made entirely from blue cane, a single variety that the producer bottles to highlight its terroir. As an AOC agricole it is distilled from fresh-pressed sugar cane juice, with no added sugar.
Aged close to five years in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 46.5%, this is a vieux-tier rum where the single-cane character meets oak. Expect the grassy, vegetal cane core joined by vanilla, dried fruit on the finish and gentle spice, dry rather than sweet. A characterful Martinique rum for unhurried sipping.
