An AOC Martinique agricole from fresh cane juice, dry and elegant with orange zest, white pepper, vanilla, herbs and balanced oak, bottled at 44% with zero added sugar for a clean, traditional cane character.

Description
Clement's Cuvee Homere Clement is a Martinique rhum agricole, distilled from fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice rather than molasses and protected by the island's AOC, the only rum appellation in the world and a genuine quality cue. A blend of older stocks aged in ex-bourbon wood and bottled at 44%, it carries no added sugar, in line with the AOC ban, giving a clean, dry, traditional profile from a long-established estate now part of the GBH group.
Distilled low on a creole column to keep the cane character in the spirit, it shows sugarcane, vanilla and oak on the nose, turning peppery, woody and dry on the palate, with a dry, spicy, floral finish. The grassy agricole core is there but framed by orange zest, pepper, vanilla, herbs and well-judged oak, rewarding attention rather than shouting. It drinks as a refined daily sipper or a relaxed neat pour, and makes an excellent bridge for anyone moving from balanced molasses rums like Mount Gay XO into dry, characterful agricole without overwhelming funk.
