Description
Clement Creole Shrubb is a traditional orange liqueur from Martinique, made by Habitation Clement from rhum agricole and oak matured rum flavoured with dried orange peel, spices and sugar cane syrup in the Creole style. That rum base sets it apart from a clean neutral triple sec, giving an orange liqueur with real depth and warmth, and it is bottled at a dry 40%.
The nose is intense orange peel, candied fruit, sugar cane and fine rum, the palate fruity and complex with blood orange, spice, vanilla, cinnamon and mature rum, closing long, warm and gently bitter. Behind the bar it works as a spiced orange modifier with a built in rum backbone: it adds orange flavour, sweetness and spice while the cane spirit lends body. It carries a Ti Punch, lifts a rum Old Fashioned and refines desserts such as crepes suzette or orange tart. A versatile orange option for rum forward drinks.
