Description
Chinaco Tequila Blanco is a 100% agave blanco with a distinction no other tequila can claim, it is the only tequila produced in the northern state of Tamaulipas, made by Tequilera La Gonzaleña under NOM 1127. The brand was created by Guillermo González Díaz Lombardo, credited with introducing the first ultra fine tequila to the United States, and its master distiller Germán González went on to make the celebrated Tears of Llorona extra añejo.
Bottled within five days of distillation, it keeps a notably fresh, clean character that suits sipping neat or building into cocktails. The nose is a bouquet of pear, quince, dill and lime underlaid by a touch of aloe, and the palate is clean, soft, fresh and lively with real depth and balance, closing long and smooth. The dry, herbal, citrus pith profile reflects the distinct northern terroir of Tamaulipas, set apart from the Jalisco mainstream. Bottled at 40%.
