Chalong Bay is a Phuket distillery working in the agricole tradition, distilling from fresh pressed Thai sugarcane juice rather than molasses, on a column still that keeps the spirit clean and grassy. This Spirit of Phuket Lemongrass takes that bright cane base and infuses it with lemongrass, a local botanical that sits naturally alongside the fresh juice character. Bottled unaged at 40%, it keeps the vegetal, floral lift typical of cane juice rum and layers a fragrant herbal note on top. Expect a fresh, aromatic and faintly grassy pour, made for cocktails, a Thai twist on a Ti Punch or a long drink over ice rather than for sipping like an aged rum.
