Chairman’s Reserve White

Chairman's Reserve White comes from Saint Lucia Distillers, a blend of unaged, two and three year old rum across column and pot stills, aged in toasted ex-bourbon wood and charcoal-filtered before bottling at 43%. Unsweetened and dry, it offers more character than a standard Cuban-style white without venturing into heavy Jamaican funk.

The nose is fresh and buttery with lime and citrus, the palate turns creamy with green apple, floral notes and citrus, and the finish brings citrus, florals, black pepper and green fruit. A light yoghurt note and a lively freshness run through it, and the pot still fraction lends just enough weight. The result is a clean, citrus-forward white that sits in a happy middle ground, widely valued as a Daiquiri and cocktail workhorse yet pleasant enough to sip neat in a pinch, a versatile and honest dry rum for the bar.
