Centenario Café comes from Costa Rica's Fabrica Nacional de Licores, the national distillery behind the Centenario range, and it is a coffee infused rum built on a molasses base. Bottled at just 26.5% with no age statement, it is openly a flavoured, sweetened product, made to deliver coffee character rather than to stand as a dry aged rum.
The profile is unmistakably coffee, with espresso, mocha and nutty aromas opening onto a palate of coffee, cappuccino and more mocha before a creamy finish.
