CDI Navy Strength

Compagnie des Indes is the French independent founded by Florent Beuchet in 2014, an origin led bottler whose Jamaica navy strength blend has long been a value favourite. Drawn from multiple Jamaican distilleries and presented at the classic navy strength of 57 percent, it offers the island's pot still funk in an approachable, unsweetened form.

Blending pot and column rum gives weight and ester character without tipping into the wildest extremes. The nose leads with banana, tropical fruit and ripe ester notes, the palate carries banana, spice and a fruity funk, and the finish turns spicy, woody and funky. It sits in the medium ester range, rounder and easier than the most explosive Jamaicans yet unmistakably of that tradition.
